The Goodreads Book Tag

This post is a little late because truthfully I wasn’t sure if I was going to post anything today. Today is a very hard day for me because today it has been a year since my daddy passed away. I needed a little cheering up and interacting with everybody on my social media accounts always cheers me up. So I thought I would post the goodreads book tag. I wasn’t tagged by anyone but I did get the idea to do this tag when I saw Casey from www.adoptabookaus.com do it on her blog. It looked like fun so I though I would give it a shot.

What was the last book you marked as read?

The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

What are you currently reading?

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee and Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen

What was the last book you marked as TBR?

The Pause by John Larkin

What book do you plan to read next?

I am not really sure. I still have like 5 books on my TBR for this month and I can’t choose between them right now.

Do you use the star rating system?

Yes that is how I rate my books although I will say I wish they had half star ratings.

Are you doing a 2016 reading challenge?

Yes this year I participated in the reading challenge and I have already meet and passed my goal of reading 50 books for this year.

Do you have a wishlist?

Of course!! It pretty much consists of like every book ever lol. Well at least all the ones that are on my TBR.

What book do you plan to buy next?

Honestly I don’t really know? I only buys books when I have a little bit of money to spare. I don’t ever actually go to the store with a specific book in mind to buy.

Do you have any favorite quotes? Share a few.

Must I go bound while you go free Must I love a man who doesn’t love me Must I be born with so little art As to love a man who’ll break my heart? Clockwork Prince

You only get one life. It’s actually you duty to live it as fully as possible. Me Before You

We accept the love we think we deserve. The Perks of Being a Wallflower

You don’t get to choose if you get hurt in this world, but you do have some say in who hurts you. The Fault in Our Stars

Who are your favorite authors?

I am sure y’all are getting tired of me saying this but my favorite author is Nicholas Sparks. His books are so relatable. He puts his characters through real life situations and I love that.

Have you joined any groups?

The only group I have joined so far and actually stuck to is the Austentatious book club. I do however want to look into other groups to join in the future.

Well that was the questions and I hope y’all enjoy my answers even though they are short and to the point. I tag everybody who wants to do this tag. I hope y’all have a good rest of the day and I will be back again on Friday.

      1. I am the same way, I use them mainly to find books that aren’t very well known. I was a history major in school and not many people talk and share books along those lines so I joined a few on there. I have found a few good ones, but I usually don’t read them during the allotted time.
