Hello bookworms!!
I did a post like this a few months ago and I had every intention of doing them every week or at least every other week and I only managed to do two of these posts for some reason. So today I thought I would bring it back. I will just be talking about the book/books I am hoping to read over the weekend.
So without further ado lets get right to it.
I borrowed these books from the library over two weeks ago and I still haven’t started them. I was too busy trying to force myself to get through Carve The Mark by Veronica Roth. (Spoiler: I finally DNFed that one). Now that I have finally given up on that one I am looking forward to finally getting to read this duology.
So that is my plans for the weekend. What do you plan on reading this weekend? Have you read this duology already? What did you think of them? Did you manage to get through Carve The Mark? I would love to hear from you in the comments below!!
I plan on finishing Ghostly Echoes by William Ritter this weekend and maybe Z by Therese Anne Fowler. Depends on how quickly I get my cleaning done. What about Carve The Mark made you not want to finish it?

It was boring to me. I just couldn’t get into the story at all. I only read 165 pages and those pages were filled with nothing but backstory and what this and that means. There was nothing really happening.

Ah, to much world building instead of telling the story.

I can’t deal with books that do that. I understand maybe about 10 pages or so. To explain what you NEED to know. But, I like learning about the world as the story is told.
