Tor.com Thursday: short story review | Dog by Bruce McAllister

Hello bookworms!!

It’s time for another short story review. As always credit to Zuky @ BookBum for creating this weekly meme. Head on over to her blog and give her a follow if you haven’t already. She is one of the sweetest people I have had the privilege of getting to know.

This Weeks Tor.com Short Story was Dog by Bruce McAllister

From Tor.com

“Dog” by Bruce McAllister is a chilling horror story about a young American couple who encounter dogs in Mexico very unlike any domesticated variety north of the border and what happens.

My Review

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is my favorite short story so far. Even though this is a short story it felt like a full length book. You get so much from this short story and you don’t feel like you are missing anything. You get drawn in and you feel for the characters. I wasn’t really expecting that ending I mean I knew something was going to happen of course but I just wasn’t expecting that.

Next Weeks Tor.com read is going to be Dark Warm Heart by Rich Larson
