The Unique Blogger Award

The Unique Blogger Award

Hello bookworms!!

Thank you so much to both Luna @ Bookish Luna and Karen @ RunWright for nominating me for this award. This is a fairly short and quick post so I thought I would answer the questions that both of these amazing bloggers asked all in one post.

The Rules

  1. Share the link of the blogger who has shown love to you by nominating you.
  2. Answer the questions.
  3. In the spirit of sharing love and solidarity with our blogging family, nominate 8-13 people for the same award.
  4. Ask them 3 questions

Questions Luna Asked:

1.) Is there a quote from a book that has inspired you/changed the way you view things? If so, what is the quote?

” You only get one life. It’s actually your duty to live it as fully as possible.” Me Before You

I wouldn’t say this quote has really inspired me or changed the way I view things but it is something I try to live by and I whole heartedly agree with it.

2.) Who would you cast as the main characters of a movie adaptation of your favorite book?

I never know how to answer this question. One of my favorite actors is Dylan O’Brien so he would have to be in it and then Perry Edwards from Little Mix. I know she isn’t an actress but I just love her. Now as for what book/movie adaptation I would choose I have no clue. I am not good at this so I hope this will work LOL.

3.) What do you enjoy most about blogging?

I know this is the answer that pretty much everyone gives but I truly love the community. I don’t have any friends or family in my day to day life that I can talk about books with so having this community is amazing. Everyone is so supportive and helpful.

Questions Karen Asked:

1.) What was the last book you bought and why?

I went to a book sale that my library was having yesterday. You can either get a bag full of books for $3 or a box of books for $4. I opted for the bag of books and ended up getting 7 books. The books I got were The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks, The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, The Perfect Play by Jaci Burton, The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty, All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr, and The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt. I got all of these books because one some of them have been on my TBR for a while now and two I can’t pass up a good deal on books. Getting 7 books, 2 of them being hardback books, for only $3 is too good to pass up.

2.) What is your favorite (or least) book-to-movie adaptation?

Hmm… This is a hard one for me. I am having a hard time just choosing one. I know y’all are tired of me going on and on about Nicholas Sparks but I truly love the movie adaptations of his books just as much as I love his books. Also I really loved the adaptation of Me Before You. I could probably name others but I don’t want to be here all day and I am sure y’all don’t have time for that either LOL!

3.) Which novel has had the most impact on your life?

Unfortunately I have yet to read a book that has really impacted my life. Maybe its because I haven’t really been reading regularly for that long but nothing has really changed the way I look at things

My Questions To You:

  1. What book got you into reading?
  2. What is your biggest bookish pet peeve? ( i.e. dog eared pages, stickers on books etc.)
  3. Can you read more than one book at a time? If so how many can you read at one time?

I Nominate:

Noriko

Kristi

Heather

Irena

As always if you don’t want to do this tag feel free to skip it. Thanks again Luna and Karen for tagging me.

  1. Oh I am so happy you did it because I love these answers. That book sale was amazing. You got some great books for an awesome price. I bought The Husband’s Secret earlier this year because I read and loved it and want to collect Moriarty’s books. I am trying to read the Goldfinch this month too because I bought a copy a few months ago.
7 books for $3. I am still thinking about that price and wishing that sale was close by 🙂
I hope you have a great week ahead, Misty
