Read-a-thon

Fall 2017 Bookish Bingo

Hello bookworms!!

I have a quick little post pretty much just announcing my participation in the Fall 2017 Bookish Bingo. I have been seeing Bookish Bingo for a while now but for some reason I never decided to participate. Some of you might be wondering what Bookish Bingo is. Well it’s a three month long read-a-thon. In this case it lasts from September to November and it’s hosted by Bekka @ Pretty Deadly Reviews. If you want to see her announcement post you can do so here.

The rules are pretty straight forward. The goal is to get as many bingos as you can in those three months and you can not use the same book for more than one square. Easy right?

I am so excited to be participating in this read-a-thon especially because it lasts for so long. Three months should be plenty of time for me to fill up the bingo board.

Here is the challenge board

I have decided not to set up a specific TBR for this read-a-thon. I am basically just going to wing it. I have already set my TBR for September so if you want to check that out you can do so here. If a book on my TBR counts towards one of the squares then I will use it but if not that’s ok too. Obviously when I set up my TBR for October and November I will reference this but I’m not solely going to be reading books that only count for this. At the end of each month I will do a post to update y’all on my progress.

Well that’s all for now. Are any of you guys planning on participating in this read-a-thon? Have you participated before? Any tips for a newbie?

    1. I’ve seen it here and there but I never really looked into it because I thought it was to much of a hassle and it would stress me out but I saw someone’s post about it and it sounds like so much fun and it doesn’t seem like it will be to stressful. Thank you!!

  1. I was looking for something like this – and found it! Ha!
Definitely going to participate; if only for my being competitive and needing extra motivation to decrease my TBR-pile, haha.

    Good luck to you!

[Going to look into this closer when I get home. :D]
