Why did you decide to start your blog?
I started blogging because I wanted an easier way to share my thoughts about books without having a word limit. Let me explain that a little. Basically I started off in the book community by joining bookstagram and twitter. Those places are great but there’s only so much you can say in one post without it cutting you off. That’s why I decided to give blogging a try.
What do you do when you need inspiration for blog posts?
I tend to stick to the same kinds of posts because that’s what I am comfortable doing. I do reviews, TBR/Wrap-ups, memes, and stuff like that. So because of that I don’t really run out of ideas.
What are your go-to book genres? Do you ever stray from these genres?
I read a little bit of everything but if I had to choose a go to genre for me it would definitely have to be Romance. I am a sucker for romance. I just love, love.
Have you ever bought a book strictly because of its cover? If yes, were you pleased or disappointed in the book?
I honestly don’t think I have ever bought a book strictly because of the cover. Sure the cover is what draws me to a book usually but I have never bought a book without knowing what it’s about first.
Are you able to shut off your blogger brain after a long day? Or are you constantly thinking about/planning your blog posts at all times?
You know I don’t let myself stress over it at all. I am a fly by the seat of my pants type of person when it comes to blogging really. Sometimes I have stuff planned out and scheduled but usually I am typing up a post the day I am going to post it. I started blogging for fun and I am determined to keep it that way by not worrying to much about it.
