Weekly Wrap Up

Weekly Wrap Up 11/5 – 11/11

Wrap Up

Hello bookworms!!

This week has been a very stressful week, these last few days at least. Me and my husband have been storing our stuff in my brother-in-laws basement for a couple of years now and Thursday we found out that we needed to get it moved as soon as possible. We spent most of the day Friday trying to find a storage company that had a unit open that wasn’t wanting to much money for it. We finally found one and we spent most of Saturday moving our stuff and we had one more load to take this morning. So glad that is now done and I don’t have to worry about it. Also this morning when I woke up one of my email accounts wouldn’t let me sign in. I have two accounts. One is my personal account and the other one is for all of my bookish stuff. Can you guess which one isn’t working? My book one of course. The one I use the most. It says access to the mailbox has expired and that all I need to do is sign back in. Well I tried signing back in but it says we don’t recognize the email. Really Yahoo?? I’ve tried contacting them on Twitter but I haven’t had a response yet. The thing is I’m not the only one experiencing this and those people aren’t getting any help either. I don’t know what else to do so I think I might have to make another account but I don’t think I want to stay with Yahoo. Anyways enough of my ranting lets talk about what you’re really here for. BOOKS!!

Books I’ve finished this week

I’ve finally broken my two books a week streak. This week I have read 3 books. Well technically two and a half but I plan on finishing The Quickie tonight. With Visions of Red by Trisha Wolfe was my first Erotic Thriller and while I was slightly disturbed by it I was still really into the book. Zoo by James Patterson was a pleasant surprise for me. I got this book from my local library because it was recommended to me for the Alphabet Soup Challenge and I really enjoyed it. The author is definitely not afraid to go there with this book. I found myself gasping and cringing at some of his descriptions. As for The Quickie by James Patterson I am only half way through but I will be finishing it tonight so I am going to go ahead and count it. I will say that I am enjoying this one as well.

Up next

I know I put You down last week but the Borrowathon Readathon started so I had to put that one on hold. Also Tome Topple Readathon starts on the 17th so I will be starting All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr and continuing on with It by Stephen King.

After I finished reading Zoo by James Patterson I started watching the show on Netflix. So far I’ve only watched the first 2 episodes of season 1. While they changed a lot of stuff in the show I’m still really enjoying it but I will say I prefer the book to the show.

One day I was browsing through Netflix trying to find something new to watch when I came across a movie called Dancin’: It’s On! What caught my eye was the fact that Whitney Carson from Dancing With the Stars was the female lead in the movie. I love Dancing With the Stars and Whitney is one of my favorite pros so I was like ok this should be good. While the dancing was amazing the acting was not. It was poorly made in my opinion and the actors weren’t great at all. If you want to watch solely for the dancing then you’re set.
