Hello bookworms!!
Sorry todays blog post is so late. I don’t really have a good excuse I’ve just been really lazy today and didn’t even think about it until just now. Anyways today I am back with pt. 2 of the series I’ve started but haven’t finished yet. Again I will let y’all know if I plan on continuing on with the series or not.
The Vampire Diaries by L J. Smith
I started this series 4 or 5 years ago. I read the first 3 books and I just wasn’t into it at all. This is one of those times where I prefer the TV show to the book. I do think I want to give them another shot but at the same time I don’t. So at this moment it’s a maybe.
Witch & Wizard by James Patterson
I actually borrowed this book from a coworker several years ago and I remember liking it. At this point I don’t really remember anything about it but I have recently read some more of James Patterson’s books and I definitely want to read more so this is one I definitely want to continue at some point but I’m not in any hurry to get to it.
Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
This is a series that I 100% want to continue with. I absolutely loved the first book Me Before You and I have already bought the second book (which for some reason I still haven’t read) but I still need to get the third book in the series.
Criminal Utopia by J. Arthur Squiers
This is another series that I will definitely be continuing. Honestly the only reason I haven’t continued with it yet is because the 3rd book isn’t out yet. I have already read books 1 and 2 and as soon as book 3 comes out I will for sure be reading it.
An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
I don’t know why haven’t continued this series to be honest. I really liked the first book and had every intention to read the 2nd book but I just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Hopefully I will get to it sometime next year.
That’s all for today. Is this something y’all would be interested in me continuing with? I know I could do a pt.3 possibly even a pt. 4 but I just want to make sure it’s something y’all would want to see. Have you started/finished any of these series? Which ones do you think I should continue on with?
I absolutely loved Me Before You and I’ve heard great things about An Ember in the Ashes series and am curious to read it. Hope you can read theme next year! 🙂

I didn’t even realize there was a third book in the Me Before You series! I have only read the first one!
I loved An Ember in the Ashes. I need to finish that series as well!

I didn’t know about there being a third book until recently. It’s called Still Me.

Loved After You! Although Me Before You was definitely a ton more emotional, haha.
Still Me is only being published next year – I thought? – so you still have time to catch up! 😀

I’m not sure of when Still Me gets published I didn’t even look at that lol. I have heard a lot of people saying they didn’t like After You and that they could have done without reading it but I really want to read it.

Somewhere in ’18, haha.
I guess that’s personal. I really wanted to know how Lou’s story would continue after everything, so After You was pretty welcome. And with Still Me I’m still curious to see where she’ll end up.

Yeah I think I might end up liking it. Probably not as much as Me Before You though lol. Yeah I am curious to find out how everything plays out for Lou.

I love An Ember in the Ashes 🙂 Luckily this series is going to take ages for it to finish so you have plenty of time to get into it. Sometimes I like to just wait until the series has ended so I can binge haha.

Yes that is definitely me too. I like to be able to binge an entire series all together.

I couldn’t finish The Vampire Diaries either…. the TV series definitely held me better than the books! And I had no idea Me before you was a series!! Thanks for sharing! (:

The TV show definitely held my interest more than the book although I eventually stopped watching the tv show because I just got to the point where I wasn’t into it much anymore. I knew there was a second book but I didn’t know there was a third. No problem!!

Yes, the Vampire Diaries are one of those series which are indeed really boring to read, but the TV series are an absolute hook-on ! You CANNOT stop till you watch the very last episode !
