The End of the Year Book Tag

Hello bookworms!!

I’ve been seeing this tag make the rounds here lately and I wanted to do it. I haven’t been tagged by anyone but I’m going to do it anyway so lets get to the Q&As.

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

I’m pretty sure these are the only four books I haven’t finished that I actually want to finish. I am hoping to finish the first three books before the end of the year but at this point I’m not so sure that’s going to happen. As for It I want to finish it but I decided to save it for the next round of Tome Topple.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

I am not a seasonal reader so I just read whatever I want to. I have seen people choosing Harry Potter for this question though so if you are a seasonal reader this might be a good one for you.

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

I say this every time there’s a question about new releases but I don’t really ever know when a book is being released until after its been released. I never pay attention to release dates although maybe I should start.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

I’m going with three I mentioned earlier. While there are so many other books I wanted to get to this year at this point I only want to try and finish the ones I have already started.

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite book of the year?

Out of the three books I mentioned above the answer is no not really. I think I am far enough along in each of them to know they aren’t going to be favorites. That’s not to say that I’m not going to like them though.

Have you already started making reading plans for 2018?

Yes and no. Yes because I already know how many books I want to try reading in 2018 for my Goodreads Challenge and no because I haven’t really thought about any other challenges I want to participate in yet.

This tag has been going around for a while now so I’m not really sure who has and hasn’t done it already so I’m not going to tag anyone specifically. If you haven’t already done this tag and you want to then consider yourself tagged just please link back to my post so I can read your answers.

    1. Yeah I always look back at my previous year and set a realistic goal based on what I was able to read the previous year. Although saying that I’m not so sure my 2018 goal is going to be realistic for me but I want to give it a try.
