Once again I haven’t done much of anything. I did participate in the 24in48 readathon this weekend and while I didn’t read for 24 hours I did manage to finish 3 books plus I finished another one earlier in the week so I would say I’ve had a really good reading week. I don’t have much else to talk about so I am going to jump right into the books I read.
Books I’ve finished reading this week
You can see my thoughts on One True Loves, The Hating Game, and Postcards from France here. One True Loves was the first book I finished this week and it was also a buddy read. I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more by this author. I started off the readathon Saturday by reading The Hating Game and I am so glad I did because I really enjoyed it. I didn’t want to stop reading which for a readathon is a good thing. I did have a couple issues with it but you can read all about it in my review linked above. Postcards from France was a book that I knew nothing about. I picked it up last year at a library book sale and decided to read it as part of the readathon because it was short and I figured it would be a quick read. There wasn’t really anything special about it but I didn’t hate it. It was an ok book. Now You Can See is a poetry book that I hadn’t planned on reading but on Sunday I wasn’t feeling like reading so I thought if I picked up another book that I knew would be a quick read that maybe I would get back into reading. I always like reading through poetry books twice before I review them so I need to do that soon but just from my first read I really liked it.
I have actually already started both of these books. I’ve read 54 pages of The Usurper King and 13 pages of Watching Glass Shatter. I was hoping to have both of these finished by the end of the month but I don’t see that happening so they might be showing up again on my February TBR.

I think I am the only one who thinks this month has flown by. I have seen several wrap up posts where people feel like this month dragged on but it didn’t feel that way to me. How about you? Do you think January flew by or do you think it dragged on? How was this week for you? What books have you been reading this week? Any new favorites?
