#notall Book Tag

notall-book-tag

Hello bookworms!!

I got tagged by Naty @ Naty’s Bookshelf for this tag. If you aren’t already following Naty you should head over to her blog and check it out. Thank you for the tag Naty and sorry it took me so long to get around to doing it.

This tag was created by The Orangutan Librarian and the only rule is to link back so they can see your answers.

#notall Cover Changes – A cover change you liked

I’m not someone who actually pays to much attention to covers to begin with so nothing really comes to mind for this one.

#notall Adaptations – An adaptation you love more than the book

There has been a few adaptations that I’ve liked more than the book but the first one to come to mind was The Outsiders. While I did enjoy reading the book I loved the movie so much more.

#notall Tropes – A trope you’ll never tire of seeing

I am an odd ball but I really love all the tropes and don’t think I will ever tire of seeing any of them.

#notall Instalove – You instaloved this instacouple

Like mentioned above I love all tropes and instalove is definitely one of the ones I love and I tend to like all of the instalove couples. That being said the one that comes to mind is Fallon and Ben from November 9 by Colleen Hoover. I wanted these two to be together from the very beginning.

#notall Love Triangles – An example of a love triangle done well

The love triangle between Tessa, Will, and Jem was perfect in my opinion.

#notall Parents – Bookish parents that, you know, parent!

My favorite fictional parents are for sure the Weasley’s from Harry Potter.

#notall Villains – A villain you love

I don’t like villains and I probably never will. I always cheer on the good guy so again I don’t have anything to pick for this question.

#notall Chosen Ones – A Chosen One you can get behind

I am going with Naty on this one and picking Harry Potter

#notall Hyped Books – A book that lived up to the acclaim

A book that lived up to the hype for me was The Infernal Devices Trilogy. I couldn’t stop reading these books when I finally picked them up and I read all three of them in less than a week.

#not all *Insert Favorite Genre* – A book your not keen on from your favorite genre

My favorite genre would definitely have to be romance and again I can’t think of an answer for this one.

#notall *Insert Least Favorite Genre* – A book you liked from a genre you don’t often read

I try to read a little bit of everything but I think the one genre that I tend to avoid is Historical Fiction because they tend to be hit or miss for me. One of the hits was Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys.

  1. Oh I haven’t seen the movie for Outsiders- now I really want to. I *love* Fallon and Ben together 😀 So agree about the love triangle in Infernal Devices- that was my choice too 🙂 So agree about Weasley parents! Ah I really agree about Between Shades of Grey! Awesome answers!

    1. Thank you Naty!! The Weasleys were the first parents I thought of immediately after reading the question. It’s been a while since I read it. It is really heartbreaking but if I remember correctly I didn’t cry while reading it.
