Hello bookworms!!
While I had fun letting my husband pick my TBR for last month it was definitely a challenge for me and I will do it again in the future but I am so excited about picking my own TBR for this month because the books I have chosen are books I am dying to read. I normally set my TBRs for 9 books but this month I was only able to decide on 6 so the last three I will just pick as I go I guess. Anyways lets get to the books I plan on reading in April.
** Links will take you to the Goodreads page. **
- Cinder by Marissa Meyer
- Illuminae by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman
- Gemina by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman
- Obsidio by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman
- Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
- The Bulletproof Proposal by Rebekah Louise
Those are the 6 books that I will definitely be reading in April. At the time of me writing this I have already finished The Bulletproof Proposal and I am almost 100 pages into Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda. Have you read any of the books on my TBR? Are any of them on your TBR as well?
That’s hilarious! Can’t wait to see the comments and reviews.

I need to catch up on my reviews. Right now I am 3 reviews behind and if I keep putting off doing them it going to get worse lol.

It’s sometimes painful to write the review when you just want to move on. Even if it’s a good book.

Yeah I completely agree. Sometimes I just want to start a new book and forget about the other one but if I wait to long I will completely forget what I wanted to say about the book.

I am jealous of your ability to read an entire series in a month. I can never do that. The only book on your TBR I read was Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda. I really enjoyed it when I read it. 🙂

I’ve only done it twice before I think. I haven’t gotten too far into Simon bs. yet but I hope I like it as much as everyone else does.

Two more times than me. 😂

Do you just lose interest if you try reading them all at once??

No, I just am not in the mood to and/or I don’t want the series to end a lot of the time.

Oh ok. The times I’ve done it was when I borrowed all of the books from the library after they had been out for a while and I ended up being into them more than I expected to be so I kept reading.

That is always a good surprise. Sadly, library due dates have no affect on me. lol. I tend to just put in another hold after I return it or I just keep checking it out until I can’t anymore. I am so bad about it.

I’ve done that before too lol.

I’m going to be buddy reading it probably toward the middle of the month sometime. I think I’m going to start Illuminae soon.

I’ve read all except The Bulletproof Proposal, haha. Simon vs. is just EVERYTHING I COULD HOPE FOR. I’m dying to see that movie. I need it in my life.
As for The Illuminae Files.. I just hope you won’t end up with the kind of book hangover I had to cope with because it was darn awful.. Happy reading!

I finished Simon vs. yesterday afternoon and I freaking loved it!! At first I was like I don’t see what all of the hype was about but then I just reached this point where I couldn’t stop reading and Simon and Blue are so flipping adorable.

Riiight?!! At first it’s all fluffy and.. ordinary but at a certain point it just changes to being amazing and everything I wanted, haha. Can’t wait to read the sequel. 🙂
