The Bulletproof Proposal by Rebekah Louise

The Bulletproof Proposal

by Rebekah Louise

Back in December I read Noriko’s review of this book and it made me really want to read it. I ended up getting it on Kindle in February but I just never picked it up until now.

I haven’t talked about it much on my blog but I joined Zuky’s BookBum Club. It’s a book club where she gives you a theme for the month and you pick whatever book you want to read that fits the theme. The theme for April is short and sweet. We are supposed to read a book that was less than 200 pages and this book was perfect for it coming in at only 61 pages.

Anyways on to the actual review of the book now. I actually really enjoyed it. Normally short stories always leave me wanting more or there’s not enough to hook me but that wasn’t the case with this one.

I will say that I thought Lisa’s plan was an unconventional and a little crazy but it made for a funny read.

As is the case for most short stories with me I didn’t connect with any of the characters. If you are in the mood for a short fast paced funny story this might be one for you.
