I finished two books this week. The first one was I Hope My Voice Doesn’t Skip by Alicia Cook which is a collection of poems. Overall I really enjoyed this collection but I didn’t connect to this one as much as I did her first collection. You can read my full review here. Next up I read Shift by M.A. George which was a pleasant surprise for me. I will be posting my review for this tomorrow.
I am currently in the middle of two books. The first one is City of Bones by Cassandra Clare and I am buddy reading it with Azu from Book Orbit. She is new to the blogging community and you should definitely go and give her a follow. We started reading this on Friday and our plan is to read 70 pages a day so we should have it finished within a week. I’m on page 294/485 and at this point I am just meh about it. I started Go Home, Afton by Brent Jones last night and I am 27% through it. It’s a pretty short read so I should have it finished either later today or tomorrow.
After I finish my two current reads I plan on starting The Curse by Jina S. Bazzar which is a prequel short story to Heir of Ashes which I read back in April.
Credit as always to The Book Date. Have you read any of the books I mentioned? What have you been reading lately?
I’m currently reading A Charm and a Curse!

I just started NOS4A2 by Joe Hill, I am only about 14 pages in, but so far so good. I am reading it for a buddy read so I will be reading it in chunks over the next 6 weeks.

My favorite of his, from what I have read so far, is Strange Weather.
