Favorite Books Of 2018 (So Far)

Hello bookworms!!

I thought since we are almost halfway through the year I would talk about my favorite books I’ve read so far. As of yesterday I completed my 41st book so I have plenty to choose from. These aren’t going to be in any particular order except for my number one book. There’s one book that I’ve read this year that is hands down my favorite (so far) and it’s probably one of my all time favorite books. Can you guess which one it is? Let me know in the comments if you guessed correctly. Anyways without further ado here are my favorite books of 2018 so far.

The Stalking Jack the Ripper series by Kerri Maniscalco. I absolutely adore these books. Thomas and Audrey Rose are just perfect and I can’t wait to read the next book Escaping From Houdini. You can read my reviews here and here.

Father Figure

I couldn’t very well do a favorites post without talking about a fellow blogger and friends second book release. James (⇐blog link) has quickly become a favorite author and I look forward to what he has in store for us next. You can read my review here.

Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda

Simon is my number 1 pick for the year so far and honestly I don’t think anything I read from here on out is going to change that but we shall see. I was so giddy when I finished reading this I just loved it so much. You can read my review here.

While I have read some books that I really enjoyed I feel like these are the standouts for me so far. Were you able to guess my number one book? Have you read any of the books I mentioned? Do we have any favorites in common? What are you favorite books of 2018 so far?

    1. I knew some people would know my obsession of Simon!! I kind of already want to watch the movie again. The pull isn’t as strong to rewatch it as it was to reread it but I just need more Simon lol. Ok I think I might have a slight problem 😂

You definitely deserve it. I absolutely love your books and I’m excited to read what you come out with next. Plus you are an amazing kind human being and I’m glad to have you as a friend!

  1. I actually didn’t like Stalking Jack the Ripper as much as I had hoped it. I didn’t feel emotionally connected to the story as much as I expected, but I’m very glad you loved it! I actually have an ARC of Hunting Prince Dracula on my shelf, so I might get to that someday!
