It’s Monday What Are You Reading?

What I Recently Finished Reading

If You Could See Me NowFinding Kyler

This week I only finished 2 books but I also started 3 more that I will talk about in a minute. The first book I finished was If You Could See Me Now by Keris Stainton. Overall I really enjoyed this book but there was something that happened that just kind of took me out of the story a little bit. Next up I read Finding Kyler by Siobhan Davis. This book I am a little torn about. On one hand I was really into this story so much so that I couldn’t put it down and when I finished it I immediately wanted to get the next book but this is a forbidden love. I knew what I was getting into but it’s still a little weird for me and then that freaking ending just made it weirder but made me want to know what happens next. I will catch up with my reviews eventually lol.

What I'm Currently ReadingWhen the Serpent BitesThe Inevitable Collision of Birdie & BashThe Afterlife of Walter Augustus

These are the other 3 books that I started last week but just didn’t get very far into them because I wasn’t feeling them at the time. I need to finish The Afterlife of Walter Augustus soon because I am on the blog tour for this next month so I will be trying to focus on that one this week.

What I Plan To Read Next

Cinders of CastlereaFollow YouThe Lost WifeEach Little LieBeautifully BrokenGuiltyheart bornbaby doll

This is what I have left on my TBR for the rest of the month and honestly I’m not sure if I will be staring any of them or not. I was thinking about reading some poetry books because they are quick reads for me but I am not sure yet so we will see what this week has in store for me.

Credit as always to The Book Date. Have you read any of the books I mentioned? What have you been reading lately?

  1. I haven’t read any of these but they seem interesting! I’m in finals week for summer session right now so I’m holding off on reading Obsidio and I’ve just been getting a lot of my netgalley reads checked off.

      1. Ya that’s a good idea, there are always some hidden gems in ARCs but once you finish them all it’s more rewarding to choose a book on your own.
