July Wrap Up 2018

Hello bookworms!!

I have had an amazing reading month which definitely has a lot to do with all the read-a-thons I participated in plus all the shorter books I read. I didn’t really do much of anything else this month besides read and I watched a few movies which we will talk about later in the post. Without further ado here’s everything I got into in July.

Reviews for some of these will be going up on my blog throughout August. So in my TBR post I mentioned that I thought I might have bit off more than I could chew but I am happy to say I read all of the books I had on my TBR except 1 which wasn’t a definite read for the month anyways. I also managed to read a couple ARCs/Review Copies and then some. This is the most I have ever read in one month and I am extremely happy with what I accomplished. Plus I have also managed to get ahead of my Goodreads reading challenge after being behind for so long. My favorite read(s) this month was The Illuminae Files and Anne of Green Gables.

Movies/TV Shows

At the beginning of the month I saw where the first 3 Jurassic Park movies were available on Netflix and I ended up watching all of them in 2 days. I grew up watching these movies and I never grow tired of watching them, especially the first one because it’s my favorite of the 3. Aside from the Jurassic Park movies I also watched the last 7 episodes of season 13 of Supernatural which I am caught up on now.

And that’s a wrap on another month. The most successful month I’ve ever had might I add. I am now 6 books ahead of my Goodreads reading goal and am way ahead on my pages read goal. I do need to focus on my Alphabet Soup challenge but I still have plenty of time to reach that. How was July for you? What was your favorite read of the month?
