My Thoughts
Back in June I participated in the blog tour for Go Home, Afton which was the first part in this 4 part series and you can read my review for that here. The author was kind enough to provide those of us who participated in the blog tour with the second book and that’s what I will be reviewing today.
See You Soon, Afton picks up pretty much where book 1 left off and is action packed and full of twists. I ended up reading this in one sitting and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.
I don’t want to spoil anything but there is a big reveal in this book which I didn’t see coming at all. While the reveal is believable I wish there was a little more backstory and explanation about it because the way it was told was way to easy. So the ease of that situation is what’s not believable to me. Ok I know that is very confusing but I can’t really explain it anymore without spoilers.
Overall I really enjoyed this and would definitely recommend you read this series if you haven’t already. I am definitely excited to read the next book. Also be aware of cliffhangers. I personally hate cliffhangers but I have been lucky enough to be able to read them close together so it’s not bothering me as bad.
