It’s Monday What Are You Reading?

My last IMWAYR? post was 2 weeks ago and all I have managed to complete in those 2 weeks was Sleep, Merel, Sleep by Silke Stein and Coraline by Neil Gaiman. I was out of town from the 2-10 so I am happy with what I managed to finish. The audiobook of Coraline was available on Scribd so I listened to it. This was also my very first buddy read with Noriko. I will be posting my review on Wednesday and you can read Noriko’s review here. I finished Sleep, Merel, Sleep the last day of July and I will be posting my review of that as soon as I can.

I started UNSUB the day before I left on my trip and only listened to the first 5 chapters. I was going to listen to it while I was driving but I couldn’t get it to download so I haven’t read anymore of it and I need to finish it because this is my pick for The BookBum Club this month. I started F*cking Awkward yesterday and I have read 7 of the 23 short stories so far. This book is just awkward sex stories and I have to say it’s kind of funny.

The first 3 books are the books that were chosen for week 2 of the Children’s Books Readathon that Jay from This Is My Truth Now is hosting and I am hoping to be able to read all of them. The audiobook for Winnie-the-Pooh is available on Scribd so I will be listening to that one. I placed a hold on Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!, and Number the Stars at my library and I will be going today to pick up Number the Stars. Hopefully the other one will be available for me to read before the end of the week. I completely failed at the Make Me Read It readathon because I was out of town and was focused more on the Slay Your TBR Readathon but I still want to read those books. I still plan to read them in the order of most votes and the first book I will pick up is Second Chance Summer.
