From August 5th to August 11th I participated in the Slay Your TBR Readathon. I was out of town during this time so I didn’t think I would get very much reading done but lets see how I did.
First up lets look at the challenges
- Post a photo of the oldest, unread book on your shelf ✅
- Post a photo of your TBR✅
- Take part in our live chats✅
- Take part in our sprints✅
- Read a fantasy book✅
- Read a short story✅
Like I mentioned I was out of town but I still managed to complete all of the challenges. I didn’t get to participate in all of the sprints but I did manage to participate in some on the last day because I was home by then. Now lets see what I read.
I finished Coraline by Neil Gaiman and I will be posting my review for it tomorrow. Before the readathon ended I managed to read 7 or 8 short stories and the challenge was to only read one so that’s good. I haven’t finished this book as of yet but I am still reading it. I had also planned to participate in the Make Me Read It Readathon and anything I read for that would have counted toward this one as well but I completely failed that readathon. I didn’t even start the first book.
I’m really happy that I managed to complete all 6 challenges and I read the books I wanted to focus on for this readathon. Did you participate? How did you do?
