My Rating: 4 stars

Synopsis

They open a door and enter a world

NARNIA…the land beyond the wardrobe, the secret country known only to Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy…the place where the adventure begins. Lucy is the first to find the secret of the wardrobe in the professor’s mysterious old house. At first, no one believes her when she tells of her adventures in the land of Narnia. But soon Edmund and then Peter and Susan discover the Magic and meet Aslan, the Great Lion, for themselves. In the blink of an eye, their lives are changed forever.

My Thoughts

It had kind of a slow start to me but it picked up pretty quickly and then it was fast paced from there. Some parts of the story just seemed a little unnecessary to me and during those parts of the story I just found myself trying to get through them as fast a I could. That being said I was really drawn in to this book and found myself feeling sad at certain parts. I really enjoyed reading this even though it is geared toward children and I am looking forward to continuing on in the series.
