Sir Chocolate Series Review by Robbie & Michael Cheadle

Hello bookworms!!

August is coming to an end so that means it’s the end of the Children’s Books Readathon that was hosted by Jay from This Is My Truth Now.  This week we read books by authors who also blog. I was only able to read one of the series thanks to Scribd so that is what I am reviewing today. I decided to review the series as a whole because each book is really short and I found that I was pretty much saying the same thing over and over again. So lets get to the review.

Series: Sir Chocolate

Author: Robbie & Michael Cheadle

Format: ebook

Source: Scribd

My Rating: 4 stars

My Thoughts

This is such an easy to read series and it flows so well. I especially love the rhyming. I also love how this is a mother and son collaboration. Her son thought of the characters and she helped put it all together. Plus there are recipes included. It’s such a fun interactive series. This would be great to read with your kids and then try the recipes together.

In each book Sir Chocolate and Lady Sweet have little adventures where they have to solve some sort of problem. I think it teaches problem solving skills and I love the illustrations that are actually made with fondant.
