Again I’ve only finished 1 book this week and it was Hopeless by Colleen Hoover. I buddy read this with Noriko. This was only my 3rd Colleen Hoover book and I have to say she has became a favorite author. I haven’t posted a review yet but just know that I really enjoyed it.
According to Goodreads I am reading 4 books but I haven’t made any progress on the first 3 books shown. I am currently on page 86/369 of Misery by Stephen King. I started this book the same time I started Hopeless but I ended up focusing on it instead so I got behind on Misery. I will be picking it back up now that I have finished Hopeless.
I borrowed The Great Gatsby from the library and the due date is coming up so I really need to get that read. I am going on a trip from the 13-18 and I decided if I get any reading done while I’m gone I was going to read the last 2 books in the Afton Morrison series. They are both pretty short so they should be quick reads. I preordered Escaping From Houdini so I am hoping by the time I get back from my trip it will be here and I will be able to immediately start it.
Credit as always to The Book Date. Have you read any of the books I mentioned? What have you been reading lately? What are your reading plans for the week?
I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Misery, I haven’t started it yet. I have When the Serpent Bites on my TBR so also looking forward to your thoughts on that one.

Hopefully now I can focus on it more since I finished the other book. I need to get When the Serpent Bites finished but I was struggling to get through the little bit that I did read.

ooo that’s not a good sign, hopefully it picks up and grabs your interest when you pick it back up.
Those that have finished Misery seem to really have enjoyed it, but I’m trying to hold off starting until next week 🙂

Yeah maybe I just have to convince myself to pick it back up. I can’t wait to read your thoughts on it when you read it. I probably should have waited to pick it up considering how long it’s taking me to read it. I haven’t read much of it yet but so far I am way more into it than I ever was with IT and The Shining.

I loved The Inevitable Collision of Birdie and Bash, and Misery is one of my favorite King books.

I think when I started it I just wasn’t in the mood for it but hopefully I will get back to it soon.

I haven’t read either of Jose yet but I definitely want to read everything she has written. The only other book I own by her is her newest one All Your Perfects.
