Three Bookish Things Tag

Tag

Hello bookworms!!

I wasn’t tagged to do this particular tag but seeing as I am trying to get ready for my trip with my granny which when you are seeing this I will have already left. Anyways I wanted to do a tag that was quick and easy and that wouldn’t require a lot of brain power so I decided to give this one a shot. I’m not sure who the creator of this is so if you know please let us know in the comments so I can give them credit. Lets get to the questions shall we.

THREE READ ONCE AND LOVED AUTHORS:

James J. Cudney: I got to know Jay through blogging first and loved his content so when I heard he was writing a book I was so excited for it. His debut novel Watching Glass Shatter was amazing as was every other book he has written and I just know I am going to love everything he comes out with.

Kerri Maniscalco: Stalking Jack the Ripper was an amazing novel and it immediately hooked me and made me want to continue on with the series and I even preordered the 3rd book which is something I never do. I have a feeling this is another author that I am going to love everything she writes.

Colleen Hoover: The first book I read by Colleen was November 9 and it made me have reactions that I have never had before while reading a book. I have since read 2 more books by her and every time there is something that inevitably hooks me and makes me want to keep reading. Again I feel like I will like anything I read by her.

THREE TITLES I’VE WATCHED BUT HAVEN’T READ:

I honestly can’t think of anything that I have watched but haven’t read yet. I try to always watch the movie before I read the book. I know there have been instances where I have watched a movie not knowing it was a book before but I have since read the books.

THREE CHARACTERS YOU LOVE

Simon from Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda – This book has become 1 of my all time favorite books and I just adored Simon so much.

Thomas Cresswell from Stalking Jack the Ripper – Again I loved this character so much. He’s like a tough guy with a heart of gold and I loved the banter between him and Audrey Rose.

Audrey Rose Wadsworth from Stalking Jack the Ripper – Audrey is a badass female character who isn’t afraid to stand up for what she believes in in the time period she is in. Also like mentioned above I adore the banter between Audrey and Thomas.

THREE SERIES BINGED:

Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare – This was one of the first series I ever binge read. I think I ended up reading all 3 books in less than a week.

The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han – I fell in love with this story and the romance in it that I had to keep reading until I finished.

Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff – The way this was written made it such a quick read and the story hooked me that once again I couldn’t stop reading it.

THREE UNPOPULAR BOOKISH OPINIONS:

  1. I am a fan of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy.
  2. I love all romance tropes.
  3. I break the spines on my books although not on purpose but it doesn’t really bother me.

THREE POPULAR BOOKISH OPINIONS:

  1. The Harry Potter series is by far one of the best series ever.
  2. I don’t like to dog ear my pages.
  3. I love bookish candles.

THREE CURRENT FAVORITE BOOK COVERS:

THREE FAVORITE BOOKS

THREE BOOKISH GOALS FOR THE YEAR:

  1. Goodreads reading challenge to read 100 books.
  2. Read 24,000 pages in the year.
  3. Read more classics

THREE WEIRDEST THINGS USED AS A BOOKMARK

  1. My cell phone
  2. A receipt
  3. A pen

I have seen a couple of versions of this with slightly different questions so I decided to combine the 2. I’m not going to be tagging anyone but feel free to do it if you want to.
