It’s Monday What Are You Reading?

What I Recently Finished Reading

I can’t believe I finished 4 books this week especially since they weren’t all that short. I almost forgot that I needed to get Time’s Up, Afton by Brent Jones read before it releases on the 29th but luckily I remembered and it fit in one of the challenges for the readathon I was participating in this week. It was the shortest one I read and overall I really enjoyed it and I will be posting my review around release day. Next I finished Emma in the Night by Wendy Walker. While I did enjoy reading this I was a little underwhelmed by it once I finished it. You can read my full review here. I finally finished reading Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. I struggled to get into this at first but the last half of the book picked up and I ended up really enjoying it. I will get a review up for it soon. Lastly I finished Loved Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira. I was really into it when I started it and I love how it is written in letters but after finishing it I am not sure how I feel about it. Hopefully a review will be posted soon.

What I'm Currently Reading

I have finally made more progress in The Pirate’s Booty by Alex Westmore. I am currently halfway through it and I have to say the more I read the more I get used to the pirate language and the less it bothers me. I have started my illustrated edition of the Sorcerer’s Stone but I haven’t gotten to far into it yet. I’m only 51 pages into it.

What I Plan To Read Next

Honestly I don’t know what I am going to read next. For the last 10 days left in the month I just want to focus on my currently reading books because I want to have those finished before November. If I manage to finish those I might start on a book I am reading as part of a readathon next month but I don’t really see that happening.

Credit as always to The Book Date. Have you read any of the books I mentioned? What have you been reading lately? What are your reading plans for the week?
