Spookathon Wrap Up

Wrap Up

Hello bookworms!!

From the 15-21 I participated in spookathon. This was a very laid back readathon that consisted of 5 challenges. You could do as many of the challenges as you wanted and there really wasn’t any other rules. I shared my TBR for this readathon in my monthly TBR at the beginning of the month so lets see how many of the challenges I completed and if I actually stuck to my original TBR.

Read A Thriller

Time's Up, Afton

When I decided on my TBR for the entire month I forgot I had to read this. I initially hadn’t planned on reading this book for this challenge but luckily it fit so I read it as my thriller book.

Read A Book With Purple On The Cover/ Read A Book With A Spooky Word In The Title

Love Letters to the Dead

I initially had a different book for each challenge which I don’t know why I did that because I knew there was no way I was going to be able to read them all so luckily some of the books I read could actually count for multiple challenges.

Read A Book Not Set In The Current Time Period

This one is kind of cheating since I actually started it before the readathon started. I started this on the 7th but I was only reading 2 chapters a day as part of a buddy read so by the time the readathon started I think we were about halfway through it but I did finish the last half during the readathon so I am counting it.

Read A Book With Pictures

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Illustrated)

Unfortunately this was the only challenge I didn’t complete. I did start this book but I only read the first 50 pages. I do plan on trying to finish this before the end of the month.

Overall I am really happy with what I accomplished. I mean I completed 2 full books read the last half of one and started on another one. Also with the exception of Time’s Up, Afton all of these books were on my initial TBR. Plus I also read another book that wasn’t even a part of this readthon so I am happy.

Did any of you participate in spookathon? How did you do? Have you read any of the books that I read? What did you think?
