Romanceopoly Challenge 2019

Hello bookworms!!

Peace Love Books and Under The Covers Book Blog are hosting the Romanceopoly Challenge. The links will take you to their YouTube announcement videos. There’s also a website where you can go to sign-up and read all the rules which you can go to here if you are interested. I’m not even going to try to explain this one because it is pretty complex and I keep having to read over the instructions to make sure I am not messing anything up. I love romance so I thought this would be a great way to read romance genres that are outside of my comfort zone.

Levels

  • Tourist – You will end up reading 11 books
  • The Wanderer – You will end up reading 21 books
  • The Adventurer – You will end up reading 29 books
  • The Native – You will end up reading 39 books

I have created a spread in my bullet journal to keep track of where I am on the board. I am using little mini clothes pins for which prompt I am on. The first prompt I landed on was Women’s Ave – Read a women’s fiction novel and I have decided to go with All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover. The only thing I am still trying to figure out for my board is how I am going to mark off the prompts once I have completed them.

I decided that I was going to try and do the entire board and I am going to do it just like I am playing monopoly. I’ve already downloaded a dice app on my phone as well. Are you participating in this challenge?

  1. That looks so fun! I love the board game aspect ❤ I don't read that much romance though. It looks really exciting for people that love romance!

    1. The people who created it read pretty much nothing but romance. I read all kinds of genres but I love when a romance is included so I thought this would be a fun way to read romances that I would probably not normally pick up. It also includes other genres as well but there’s a lot of romance.

  2. I’m doing this challenge too 🙂 I love it! I decided to create a reading journal this year because I love seeing everyone’s boards in theirs. I’m playing it the same way as you and have one book done.

    1. Yeah this is one of the more complex challenges I am participating in. The only reason I decided to join was because I love romance so I thought it would be fun to read romance genres I normally wouldn’t pick up. Thank you!!
