I’ve had a slow start to the year so I have only finished 1 book this week. I actually started this last year but I put off reading the last 25% of it to participate in Diverse Divers. I listened to this on audiobook and overall I really enjoyed it. Willow Dean kind of annoyed me a little bit but other than that it was good.
I’ve been slowly getting through this book this week. Each Little Lie was actually my first Devour Your TBR #JanJamJar pick for the month and it also counts for the Late-A-Thon and I will be talking about both of those in a different post later this week. Sorry guys feel like I started the year off being behind on everything and I can’t seem to catch up. Anyways back to the book. I only have 10% of this book left and I am really interested in seeing what happens. Look out for my review once I have finished it.
I am going to be starting Pet Sematary by Stephen King today. I am still participating in the Stephen King Read-a-longs that Janel hosts over on Instagram and Pet Sematary was the pick for January. The first book I will be reading for Romanceopoly is going to be All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover. I will also be starting A Study in Scarlet by Arthur Conan Doyle on Sunday as part of the #CatchUpOnClassics read-a-long that I am participating in this year.
Credit as always to The Book Date. Have you read any of the books I mentioned? What did you think of them if you have? What have you been reading lately? What are your reading plans for the week?
I was not sure about dumplin hence didn’t read it…

I liked the overall message of it and I enjoyed the story. I definitely think it’s a book worth reading but if you don’t want to read the book I suggest the movie. I actually enjoyed it more than the book because some of the things are just better portrayed visually than in print if you know what I mean.

I’m definitely going to be finishing The Land of Stories Beyond the Kingdoms today, and I’m definitely going to start reading An Author’s Odyssey maybe finish it and start World’s Collide. I started the series last year and it’s one of the series I want to finish this year. The books are middle-grade and really fast paced so it doesn’t take me long to read them.

I still haven’t read any of the Land of Stories books but hopefully I will start those soon. I haven’t heard of the other 2 books.

Well, I kind of have a million books going simultaneously, so my goal is to finish some of them up and get back to a normal amount of books. Right now, my top priorities are Thunderhead because my dad wants to read it after me, The Magicians because it’s a part of my year of reading books compared to Harry Potter, and The Selection novellas for no reason other than them being short and adorable.

Good luck with all your reading. I need to get into reading more that one book at a time. Sometimes I do but for the most part I stick to one book.

I have not read Dumplin´but I´m real curious about it.
A Study in Scarlet sounds so interesting but I have a few other classics at home to get through before that one. But hey I look forward to see what you think about it later 😀

I love the message of Dumplin’. There are a lot of classics that I haven’t read and hopefully I will eventually get to all of them.

I have made a bit of a slow start, too. Just finished a non-fiction book and currently buddy reading I Am Watching You by Teresa Driscoll, which is a very sophisticated mystery book.

I haven’t been able to start yet. 😦 I hope to do it soon. But I’m still finding my routine in a new place and there are a lot of chorus that need to be done.
