Beat The Backlist Reading Bingo

Hello bookworms!!

At the beginning of the year I did all of my challenge posts and Beat The Backlist was one of the challenges I signed up for. This challenge has additional challenges you can do along with the normal challenge and at first I was only going to do the additional Hogwarts mini challenge but I decided I wanted to give the regular bingo board a try as well. Like I don’t already have enough to keep up with without adding something else. It’s ok I can do this. At least that’s what I keep telling myself. Here is the board that I am going to try to get at least one bingo on but I’m secretly hoping to fill the board.

btb bingo_ravenclawI’ve already read some books for the main challenge but I don’t know if any of them fit into the prompts yet because I just decided to do this. I will try to do random updates on how I am doing throughout the year mostly to try to keep myself accountable.

  1. For #ownvoices there are quite a few books and authors that you can read. You can read The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas, On The Come Up by Angie Thomas, Dear Martin by Nic Stone, The Watson’s Go To Birmingham by Christopher Paul Curtis, Tyler Johnson Was Here by Jay Coles, anything written by Adam Silvera counts as #ownvoices, they are also all standalone books. For books about books, there is The Great Library Series by Rachel Caine, and then The Invisible Library Series by Genevieve Cogman. For title is a name there’s Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson, for book to movie/show there’s the Hate U Give, Anne of Green Gables (NOT the Netflix adaptation), Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon.

      1. You’re welcome and On The Come Up by Angie Thomas won’t work for this because its publication date is February of this year. And I know for Beat the Backlist the books have to be published before or in 2018.
