Wow I finished 5 books this past week. Most of which is thanks to the Day-A-Thon and the 24in48 read-a-thons that I participated in over the weekend. I listened to the audiobook of Rhythm, Chord and Malykhin by Mariana Zapata and it ended up being my first 5 star book of the year. It was definitely a pleasant surprise considering I went into it expecting to not like it all that much. Next up I read The Cruel Prince by Holly Black which overall I ended up really enjoying. I am working on my review for this one. Next up was Follow You by Richard Parker and again I ended up liking this book. It’s very graphic and twisted but oh so good. I then listened to Corrupt by Penelope Douglas and I am still trying to figure out how I feel about this book. Last up was A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks which of course I loved. Technically I finished it just now but I only had 8 pages left so I am counting it for last week.
I am currently 252 pages into The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken which is just a little over halfway through. I am listening to the audiobook of this while following along in my book. I am buddy reading this with Lili and so far I am enjoying it. I will most likely have this finished in the next couple days.
My next #JanJamJar pick is another Nicholas Sparks book which I’m not mad at. My next romanceopoly book is He Will Be My Ruin by K.A. Tucker which I don’t know anything about. Considering there are only 3 days left in this month my focus right now is to just finish The Darkest Minds and if I have time to start another book it will most likely be one of these. If not these will just be added to my February TBR.

I love Nicholas Sparks! He’s always been a favorite too. I can’t wait to see how you liked The Cruel Prince. I have it, but see mixed reviews.

Sparks has been my favorite author for as long as I can remember. I own everyone of his books now I am just working my way through reading them all. I’ve only seen good things about The Cruel Prince. I really enjoyed it. My review for it will go up sometime next month.
I want to eventually read Geekerella. I hope you are enjoying it.

Me too! I don’t own every book though. I can say that I’ve enjoyed nearly every book I’ve read by him though with the exception of Three Weeks With My Brother. Couldn’t get into that one.
