I missed last weeks IMWAYR? post so this is what I have finished reading in the past 2 weeks which is kind of disappointing since I’ve been reading 3-5 books a week but I had some things come up unexpectedly so finishing 2 books is actually pretty good. I buddy read/listened to The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken during the Day-A-Thon at the end of January. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to continue with the series. I recently finished Girl, Keep Fighting by Channon Bailey. I’m not going to talk much about it today because I am part of the blog tour for this so keep an eye out for that post coming on the 20th of this month.
I didn’t think I was going to be reading the Stephen King read-a-long book this month but I managed to finally start it and I was able to make it to the first discussion point so I am really happy about that. I have read 268 pages out of 769 and so far I am enjoying it even though I am a little confused about some things but I know that won’t be the case for long. I finally started my first book for Fantastic February last night and that was Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. I have read 100 pages out of 358 and again I am really into it so far.
I have so many books I need/want to get to this month. I need to read my next book for Romanceopoly which will be He Will Be My Ruin by K.A. Tucker and I also would like to be able to get through at least one of my book club books of the month which will most likely be Emergency Contact by Mary H.K. Choi. After I finish with Shadow and Bone I plan to continue with my Fantastic February reads and I will read the next book in this trilogy Siege and Storm. I would also like to read some ARCs this month and the next one I need to get to is In Servitude by Heleen Kist.
Credit as always to The Book Date. Yeah so as you can see I have a lot of reading to do. I feel like I am once again playing catch up. Have you read any of the books I mentioned? What did you think of them if you have? What have you been reading lately? What are your reading plans for the week?
