I was tagged by Mischenko from ReadRantRock&Roll to do the NetGalley Book Tag back in July of last year. I was really good last year and only got one read now book from NetGalley and this year (yesterday actually) I got 3 read now books. I am still working on catching up on all the books I got in 2017 but I have gotten it significantly lower than it was. If you’re not following Mischenko go and fix that right now.
- Link back to the tag’s creator Kourtni at Kourtni Reads.
- Thank and link back to the person who tagged you.
- Answer the questions the best you can. If you don’t use NetGalley, you can substitute other sites or places where you get books!
- Tag a few people to do this too.
-Auto-Approved: Who’s one author whose books you automatically want to read, regardless of what they’re about?
I was going to go with Nicholas Sparks like I always do with questions like these but since he pretty much writes in the same genre I decided to go with James J. Cudney instead. James dabbles in different genres and has become a favorite of mine and I will literally read anything he puts out.
-Request: What makes you want to request a book that you see on NetGalley?
The synopsis has to sound intriguing for me to request a book.
Feedback Ratio: Do you review every book you read? If not, how do you decide what books to review?
If I got the book from NetGalley I review the book but in general there are some books that I don’t review because I struggle to much to come up with the words for them and I don’t want to stress over it so I will just give a star rating.
Badges: If you could create your own badge to display on your blog, what would it be for?
Umm I don’t know the only thing I thought of was a worst reviewer badge but that wouldn’t be a very good badge to display lol.
Wish for It: What’s one book that you are absolutely dying to read?
Just one?? There are so many but I will go with Slayer by Kiersten White
2017 NetGalley Challenge: What was the last book that you received as an ARC that you reviewed? If you’ve never received an ARC, what’s the last book you reviewed?
The last book I received for review was Girl, Keep Fighting by Channon Bailey. My review hasn’t gone up on my blog yet but I have posted it on Goodreads already.
