NetGalley Book Tag

Hello bookworms!!

I was tagged by Mischenko from ReadRantRock&Roll to do the NetGalley Book Tag back in July of last year. I was really good last year and only got one read now book from NetGalley and this year (yesterday actually) I got 3 read now books. I am still working on catching up on all the books I got in 2017 but I have gotten it significantly lower than it was. If you’re not following Mischenko go and fix that right now.

  • Link back to the tag’s creator Kourtni at Kourtni Reads.
  • Thank and link back to the person who tagged you.
  • Answer the questions the best you can. If you don’t use NetGalley, you can substitute other sites or places where you get books!
  • Tag a few people to do this too.

-Auto-Approved: Who’s one author whose books you automatically want to read, regardless of what they’re about?

I was going to go with Nicholas Sparks like I always do with questions like these but since he pretty much writes in the same genre I decided to go with James J. Cudney instead. James dabbles in different genres and has become a favorite of mine and I will literally read anything he puts out.

-Request: What makes you want to request a book that you see on NetGalley?

The synopsis has to sound intriguing for me to request a book.

Feedback Ratio: Do you review every book you read? If not, how do you decide what books to review?

If I got the book from NetGalley I review the book but in general there are some books that I don’t review because I struggle to much to come up with the words for them and I don’t want to stress over it so I will just give a star rating.

Badges: If you could create your own badge to display on your blog, what would it be for?

Umm I don’t know the only thing I thought of was a worst reviewer badge but that wouldn’t be a very good badge to display lol.

Wish for It: What’s one book that you are absolutely dying to read?

Just one?? There are so many but I will go with Slayer by Kiersten White

2017 NetGalley Challenge: What was the last book that you received as an ARC that you reviewed? If you’ve never received an ARC, what’s the last book you reviewed?

The last book I received for review was Girl, Keep Fighting by Channon Bailey. My review hasn’t gone up on my blog yet but I have posted it on Goodreads already.

  1. Glad you did the tag, Misty! So far I’ve only read one book by James and enjoyed it immensely. We’ve already chatted about Nicholas Sparks lol. 😉 We seem to have a lot in common. I enjoyed reading this and thanks for linking back! 💗❤💗

    1. Thank you for the tag!! I’ve read all of his books so far and they are all so good to me. Which one have you read?? Yeah I feel like I talk about Nicholas Sparks all the time lol. I’m sure I’ve gotten on some people’s nerves with how much I mention him. You’re very welcome!!

      1. You’re welcome! I read his first book Watching Glass Shatter, but with my schedule I just haven’t gotten in to his others yet. As far as Sparks, I’ve read nearly all of them. I know what you mean! Honestly, Sparks, Picoult, and Jamie McGuire have been favorites since the beginning. 💗
