I have been reading a lot this week which you will see from my currently reading books but I have only managed to finish 2 books. Both of which are part of a trilogy. I decided to start the Grisha Verse books this month in anticipation of the Netflix series. The first book I finished was Shadow and Bone and you can read my thoughts on it here. I was a little worried starting this trilogy because of all the negative things I have heard about it but I enjoyed the first book more than I thought I would and I thought it was a great start. After finishing it I immediately started Siege and Storm. I just finished this last night and you can read my review for it here. I enjoyed this book more than I did the first one and I need to start book three immediately.
I am still reading Duma Key with the Stephen King read-a-long group on Instagram but we will be finishing it this week. I am really enjoying this one. I’m slowly getting through He Will Be My Ruin. I’m just not fully into this one but I am into it enough to want to know who the murderer is. I am also beta reading a book for an author that I’m not sure I can talk about yet so I will leave it at that. So yeah like I mentioned above I’ve been reading a lot. I’ve pretty much had four books going at once but hopefully next week I will finally have these as completed.
I’ve pretty much given up on getting to the books for the book club I’m participating in so my next book will be In Servitude because I have to have it read no later than March and then I of course will be continuing with the Grisha Verse books and will be reading Ruin and Rising.
Credit as always to The Book Date. I feel like I am slowly making progress reading all of the books that I need/want to get read. Have you read any of the books I mentioned? What did you think of them if you have? What have you been reading lately? What are your reading plans for the week?
I had no idea the Grisha books were being adapted. I read the first one, although it took me some time to get into it, and the other two are on my list. Now I feel like I should be caught up as well 🙂

Yeah I’m not sure when it’s coming but it is. Yeah the first one took me a little bit to fully be into but I loved the second one.

I finished reading Verity by C. Hoover and loved it by the way. Now, I think I’m going to start reading Emma.

Everything I’ve heard about Verity has been positive and it makes me want to read it even more. I haven’t read Emma yet.
