Unexpected Readathon TBR

Unexpected Readathon

Hello bookworms!!

Today I am going to be sharing my TBR for the Unexpected Readathon with y’all. Some of you might be wondering what that is. Well it’s a readathon that Destiny from Howling Libraries created and she also created the graphic above. Basically it’s a group where Destiny will announce surprise readathons anywhere from one day to one week in advance. For all the info click the link above to be taken to Destiny’s announcement post. If you are interested in joining here is the Goodreads group.

This round of the readathon is going to be from March 17 – March 20 and there are 3 challenges you can do but they are not required.

Those challenges are:

  1. Read something that’s been on your TBR since 2018 or earlier
  2. Read a sequel
  3. Read something that someone has recommended to you or that a friend has rated highly (feel free to ask other group members for their recs if you don’t have anything in mind to fit this criteria)

I personally will not be doing the challenges because I like just being able to read whatever I want to without the added pressure of picking something that goes with each challenge.

I will hopefully be reading:

My main goal for this readathon is to finish Six of Crows and Never Fade. I started reading Six of Crows during the rereadathon and I only got 80 pages into it before it ended Saturday Night. I’ve also been buddy reading Never Fade with Reading With Wrin. We’ve been reading 4 chapters a day so if I calculated correctly we will be finishing it on Wednesday. If by chance I finish Six of Crows I will start The Gemini Connection.

That’s my plan for the next four days. Hopefully I will be able to finish at least 2 books. Are you participating in this readathon? What do you plan on reading?

  1. Oooh I never knew about this readathon but i kind of want to participate! I can easily find books to fit the challenges (I’m reading two now!) good luck on your reading! I’ve heard so many great things about Six of Crows but I still need to finish the Grisha trilogy 😭

    1. It’s a new readathon that was created this month I think. Six of Crows will be a reread for me. I wanted to read it again to refresh my memory before I finally read Crooked Kingdom. I have read the Grisha trilogy I’ve the past couple of month.

      1. I am too. I read Six of Crows for the first time 2 years ago and never continued with Crooked Kingdom. I also read it before I read the Grisha Trilogy because only recently read them for the first time so I am all out of order lol.
