Beth’s Question:
What has been your favorite book of the month so far?
Name a book that you have recently bought solely from a blogger’s review.
I haven’t bought any books recently because I haven’t had the money and I can’t remember any books that I have bought solely because of a bloggers review. I’m sure I have some I just can’t remember right now.
Do you read multiple books at a time? Or just one?
I used to only read one but in the past couple of years I have started reading more than one. I usually max out at 3 sometimes 4 books.
Name a book that you were disappointed by/felt had been over-hyped.
This wasn’t a bad book but in my opinion it was way over hyped.
Give an ‘unpopular opinion’ on a book/series that everyone else seems to love.
Hmm… I can’t think of an unpopular opinion on a book/series that everyone loves but I series that everyone seems to hate and I love is the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy.
What book have you read the most times cover to cover?
The Fifty Shade of Grey trilogy. I can’t remember exactly how many times I’ve read it but I think it’s about 5 or 6 times. After that would be Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda. I read that one 3 times in one month.
Favorite cover art of a book you own (include a picture, if you can!)
Oh gosh I don’t really pay a whole lot of attention to covers so I had to think on this one. I think I am going to go with The Cruel Prince.
Name a stand-alone book that you WISH had a sequel.
Again another hard one because I have realized that I read a lot of series but for this one I am going to go with a recent read and say Firestarter by Stephen King. I really enjoyed the book but I was left wanting more.
What setting of a book would you love to visit?
Bit of a cliché answer but I have to say Hogwarts. Actually I would love to visit all of the places in the Harry Potter world.
Name something that bugs you about the book blogging community.
I guess how some people don’t view audiobooks as reading and how people are shamed for liking what they like. I am fortunate enough that I have never dealt with these people personally but I’ve heard about the drama second hand and it makes me sad for the people who have had to deal with it.
Name something you LOVE about the book blogging community.
How friendly and helpful most people are. I have made some great friends from joining the book community and I cherish it all.
Shame about poet x. I do like the cover for cruel prince too. Awesome answers!
