Tome Topple Readathon Wrap Up April 2019

Wrap Up

Hello bookworms!!

I participated in the Tome Topple readathon from April 13-26 and today I am going to be sharing what I was able to get read. I had put four books on my TBR and I was only expecting to read for sure 1 of them but I was hoping for 2. Lets see what I was actually able to read.

What I planned to read

What I actually read

# of books read – 3

# of pages read – 1,764

I read 3 of the 4 books I wanted to read which I am really happy about. I totally could have read Obsidio had it not been for Scribd making it unavailable again right after I finished Gemina. I enjoyed Crooked Kingdom but I felt like it was way overhyped which took away from my enjoyment of it because I had high expectations going in and while it was good those expectations weren’t met. I reread Gemina but I listened to the audiobook this time. I liked the audiobook but I preferred actually reading the books. I would say if you listen to the audiobook of it have the book as well so you can follow along or just read the book. Last up I read The Darkest Legacy and OMG am I glad this one is over. I was so annoyed and frustrated with this book. Had it not been for buddy reading this with Erin I probably would have DNFed it. I tried writing my review for it right after I finished but it became this huge rant so I’m going to have to go back and edit it before I post it.

I think this is my most successful Tome Topple yet. Did you participate in the Tome Topple Readathon? What books did you end up reading? Did you reach your goal for the readathon?
