WWW Wednesday

Hello bookworms!!

It’s time for another WWW Wednesday post. WWW Wednesday was originally hosted by A Daily Rhythm and was revived by Taking on a World of Words. It’s a place to talk about the books you’ve been reading, plan to read and have read.

WWW Wednesday

To take part all you need to do is answer the following questions:

~What are you currently reading?
~What did you recently finish reading?

~What do you think you’ll read next?

~ Currently Reading ~

The Space Between Time

I am part of the month long blog tour for this and I will be posting my review on the 12th so keep an eye out for that. I am 22% into it and it’s a little slow going so far.

~ Recently Finished ~

second chance summer

I only finished one book this week which is a bummer. I thought I finished more than that. I haven’t wrote my review up for this yet but I ended up enjoying it overall. I have a few issues with it and it made me cry like a baby. This is the first book in like 10ish years that has made me cry like this.

~ Reading Next ~

What are you currently reading? What have you recently finished? What do you plan to read next? Have you read any of the books I mentioned?

  1. Never read any of them. I’m currently reading two books, Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurer (so) and Lolly Winston “Me for You”. I don’t normally do this but my daughter is reading Rebecca for school and when she’s not using it I’ve been reading it. I just finished “Star Crossed “ by Minnie Darke and I’m probably going to read “Everything is Just Fine” by Brett Paesel

    1. I’ve read Rebecca and I ended up enjoying it. I struggled at first with it though. I’ve been seeing Star Crossed and I’m kind of interested in reading it. I’ve added it to my Goodreads TBR to hopefully get to eventually. I haven’t heard of the other 2.

      1. The others I found as part of my troll the tables at Barnes and Noble day. Honestly, I get so much from holding a book, looking at the cover and reading the blurb

      2. Same here but we don’t have any bookstores where I live. I usually find my books at Walmart or my local grocery store but they don’t have a huge selection which is why most of my book shopping is done online.

    1. No not in a slump. I was at the end of the month last month but I got myself out of it. The Space Between Time seems to be a very character driven book at the moment and I don’t tend to like those so that’s why it’s slow going. Everyone has lived this book so I’m hoping it picks up for me soon.

  2. I loved The Space Between Time but I did find it a bit difficult to concentrate on for the first few chapters. It felt like the story was flitting about a bit but I wasn’t sure if it was just me not being in the right headspace or if it really was being confusing at times. There was a point when it clicked for me though and then I didn’t want to put it down. I hope it ends up being the same for you.

    1. Thank you!! I’m not to disappointed I just thought I had read more so realizing I hadn’t was kind of a bummer but it is what it is lol. I truly hope it does. Everything I have been hearing about it has been good so I hope it gets better.
