Hello bookworms!!
In May I was fighting a reading slump and still managed to read 9 books. This month I wasn’t fighting the slump but still slacked on my reading. I only managed to read 6 books in June. I’m not mad at that number I just wish I could have read more because I was really wanting to read. Across those 6 books I read 2,445 pages which surprisingly is more than last months page count. Here is what I managed to read in June.
Books Read
- The Space Between Time by Charlie Laidlaw (RTC)
- After You by Jojo Moyes (RTC)
- P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
- Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco (reread) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
- Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
- The Devouring Gray by Christine Lynn Herman (RTC)
I am scheduling this weeks posts ahead of time in preparation for my husbands surgery so as I am writing this I am still reading The Devouring Gray. I’m halfway through it and plan to finish it by the end of the month. My favorite book of the month, not including my reread of Stalking Jack the Ripper because that would definitely be my favorite, is Second Chance Summer. This was a very emotional read for me and it’s the first book to make me full on cry in a very long time.
Watched
I wasn’t blown away by any of the movies I watched this month. They were all just ok. I also rewatched several episodes of NCIS from different seasons. This is one of my favorite shows so of course I loved it.

That’s a wrap! I’m hoping July will be a better reading month but we will see. I do have an exciting announcement coming your way soon for something that’s happening at the end of the month so keep an eye out for that. Have you read any of the books I mentioned? How did June treat you?
We all have our slow reading months! Hope you have a great July!

I felt the same way about P.S. I Still Love you, it was middle of the road for me. Not bad, but not the best. I am curious to see what you end up rating The Devouring Gray, I keep hearing people talk about it and mention it.

I think I am going to be giving it 3 stars. I still need to write my review but right now that’s what I’m leaning toward.

Good to know, I will have to keep an eye out for the review to see what you liked and didn’t like. Thanks Misty!

P.S I still love you certainly didn’t hit as well as To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before did. You did a lot of reading, good job! I know sometimes it doesn’t feel like a lot but it certainly looks like it from here 🙂

Thank you!! Considering what I was dealing with in June I’m really happy with my progress in June. I just hope I can do better in July even though we are getting ready to go through the same thing again.
