End Of The Year Book Tag

Hello bookworms!!

It is that time of year where everyone starts doing the end of the year book tag. I’ve done this for the past couple of years (2017 & 2018) usually without being tagged and usually in December so I am getting to it a little sooner and this year I was actually tagged by someone. I was tagged by Kiara from The Nerdy Bibliophile. Thank you so much for the tag Kiara. If you aren’t already following her blog you should go and remedy that right now. This tag was originally created by Ariel Bissett over on YouTube. Now on to the questions.

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

I don’t think I have started and stopped reading any books this year. I guess I can put my current reads but I already know that I will for sure be finishing those. I’m halfway through The Outsider and I just started Harry Potter yesterday so I’m not to far into it yet.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

No I don’t. I say this every year but I tend to just read whatever I am in the mood for and it’s hardly ever based on what season we are in. This might change at some point because this year in October I was in the mood for spooky books so I guess those were my transition reads.

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

There’s 2 books that are being released this month that I really want to read. I am going to be putting them on my Christmas wishlist so maybe just maybe I will get them.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

The only thing I really want to finish by the end of the year is my reread of the Harry Potter series. I’ve already read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and I will soon be finishing Chamber of Secrets so I only need to read 5 more.

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite book of the year?

I wouldn’t say my favorite book of the year but I would say it could possibly become my favorite Stephen King book and it’s not really shocking considering I’ve already read half of the book.

The Outsider

Have you already started making reading plans for 2020?

No not really. The only thing I know for sure right now is that I will be keeping my Goodreads reading challenge goal at 100 books. Other then that I have no clue what I will be doing. I know that I am not going to sign up for as many challenges as I did this year.

I am not going to be tagging anyone because I don’t know who all has done it and I am to lazy to find out so if you haven’t done this tag yet and you want to then consider yourself tagged. Please link back to me so I can be sure to read your answers.

    1. I’m probably not the person to ask about something being scary because I never find anything to be scary. I’ve only read half so far and as of right now it’s not scary but it’s very graphic in detail and the subject matter is hard to read but scary no not to me.

      1. Lol I’ll try. I’m the kind of person who thinks scary movies are funny and predictable and I have yet to find a book that scares me. I will ask the people I am reading it with if they think it is a scary book and let you know there opinions on it.
