Monthly Wrap Up

November Wrap Up

Wrap Up

Hello bookworms!!

The only books I put on my November TBR were the Harry Potter books. I also made a TBR for the Buzzwordathon. While my reading didn’t go quite the way I planned I still managed to read 9 books this month which was 3,006 pages. I’ve started babysitting this month which took away from my reading time and I also found myself sick. When I am sick the last thing I feel like doing is reading but I managed to make myself read the last few days of November even though I was sick because I was determined to finish the books I was reading. Anyways lets jump into what I was able to read.

Books I Read

  1. In the House Upon the Dirt Between the Lake and the Woods by Matt Bell ⭐️⭐️⭐️
  2. Ronaldo: The Vixen Pederson Workshop by Maxine Sylvester ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  3. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  4. The Devil’s Apprentice by Kenneth B. Andersen⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  5. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  6. The Outsider by Stephen King⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  7. Dirty Billionaire by Meghan March⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
  8. Love, Look Away by Lisette Brodey⭐️⭐️⭐️
  9. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Apparently I was in a reviewing mood this month because I posted a review for almost every book I read. My review for Prisoner of Azkaban will be going up soon. I’m not to worried about how many books I read each month because I have already reached my Goodreads goal. This is a typical month for me and considering I’ve been babysitting and sick I am surprised I managed to read all of these. My favorite book of the month, not including the Harry Potter books because those are obvious favorites since I am rereading them, would probably have to be The Devil’s Apprentice by Kenneth B. Andersen. My least favorite would probably be In the House Upon the Dirt Between the Lake and the Woods because while I enjoyed it I was still left asking myself what the heck I just read. Also is it just me or does that long title really annoy you? Just me ok I thought so. Again this month I didn’t rate anything less than 3 stars so while I have a least favorite book I still enjoyed reading it.

Watched

I watched a couple Christmas movies which I thought were cute romances but they’re not anything special and I also finally watched Christopher Robin which I really enjoyed. I thought it was so cute.

Music

I haven’t really been listening to anything new lately except for Selena Gomez’s new song Lose You To Love Me. I have been listening to it over and over again since she released which means I am obsessed.

Challenge Stats

  • Goodreads – 108/100
  • Pages Read – 34,939/36,000
  • Alphabet Soup – 17/26
  • Library Love – complete
  • Audiobook – Complete

We only have one more monthly wrap up to do this year guys. I am so excited that it is finally December. December has always been my favorite month because it’s my birthday which by the way is today Happy birthday to me!! Also it’s Christmas and I love when it snows. I guess I will have to wait and see what December has in store for me this year. How was your November? What did you read, watch and listen to?

  1. Happy Birthday Misty. I hope you have an amazing day. There are a couple of movies on here that I will have to see if I can find on Netflix. I love Christmas movies. You did well this month. I am glad you enjoyed what you read. Have a great December!

    1. Thank you so much!! All of the movies I watched I found on Netflix so you should be good to watch them. I enjoy watching Christmas movies as well but Netflix usually doesn’t have much that catches my eye. I hope you have a great December as well.

      1. Being Canadian, our Netflix doesn’t always have the same things as the US does, but I have my fingers crossed. I watch the W channel here, which is similar to Hallmark in the US.
