This Week In Books

My Week In Books 12/23 – 12/29

Hello bookworms!!

While I haven’t read all of the books that were on my December TBR this month I am happy with what I managed to read. Today I’m going to be sharing my reading progress for the past week.

~ Recently Finished ~

I got through another 3 books this week. I read Eggnog Makes Her Easy which is a novella in the Boys of the Big Easy series and I really enjoyed it. I definitely would like to read more of this series in the future. I reread The Christmas Carol on Christmas day and of course I enjoyed it if I am rereading it. Last up I finally finished my reread of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I have decided that I am going to hold off on rereading the rest of the series for now because I am not feeling it anymore.

~Currently Reading ~

I just finished Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire last night and I haven’t picked anything else up. I’m actually not planning on starting anything else until the new year because I want a few days to refresh before I start in on all of my 2020 challenges.

~Reading Next ~

As of right now I don’t know what book I will pick up first in 2020. Of course I have several to choose from I’m just going to wait until January to pick something because right now I don’t even want to think about books for a few days.

That’s all. I know it’s kind of a boring My Week In Books post but it’s the reality of what I am doing right now so I thought I would go ahead and share it. Are you still reading? Are you taking a break from reading for the remaing few days?

      1. I am too… yeah that makes sense. I don’t reread very often and this was my first reread of the series. While I enjoyed my reread of the first 4 books I think I would much rather just watch the movies because it’s quicker. I might finish my reread of the last 3 books at the end of next year but I’m not really sure. While I still enjoy it like I said I think I will just keep rewatching the movies.
