I think I’ve finally gotten my reading mojo back. At least for this week because I was able to finish 3 books this week which is what a typical week looks like for me. Lets take a look at what my reading was like this past week.
~ Recently Finished ~
Here are the three books I finished. First was The Giving Heart which I really enjoyed. Despite it being the second book in a series I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything. Next I read Naked in Death which is the first book I’ve read for the #indeathreadalong and it just so happens to be the first book I’ve ever read by this author and guys I am already hooked. It’s taking everything in me not to pick up the next book immediately. Lastly The Drawing of the Three finally showed up at my library and because I was so far behind in the #KeeperofKing readalong I was reading like crazy to catch up and I managed to finish it last night in time for todays discussion on it. It was definitely better than the first book.
~Currently Reading ~
This was an unexpected addition to my TBR but when I posted my January 2017 Book Haul Revisited post Erin from Reading with Wrin commented saying if I was up for a buddy read she would love to read one of the classics with me and we decided to go with one of the easier ones and because I knew more about Little Women I picked it. We are reading it using the serial reader app so if we stick to just reading one part a day we will finish this sometime in April so you will see this book on My Currently reading for a while.
~ Reading Next ~
First up I am going to be reading The Die of Death because I will be participating in a blog tour for this book on the 31st and I want to have my review ready to go. Next I will be picking up Message in a Bottle because I’ve been neglecting some of my challenges and this will help me with 2 of those challenges. Lastly depending on if this one ever shows up at my library I will be continuing on with the #KeeperofKing readalong and reading the next book in The Dark Tower series The Waste Land. Is it just me or is that cover really freaking cool looking?
I am feeling really good so far with how my reading and challenges are going. Hopefully I can keep this up all year. What have you finished reading? What are you currently reading? What do you plan to read next?
