You might have noticed I didn’t set a TBR for January. Technically I did have a TBR but most of the books I was deciding on last minute so I decided this year I am going to skip TBR posts. I’m normally a TBR person so going without a TBR always scares me a little because I feel like I won’t read as much without one. Luckily that wasn’t the case and I hope it continues to go smoothly throughout the year.

Overall I think January started out pretty well. My ratings are all over the place but I already have two 5 star books. You will be seeing my challenge update post soon but I am pretty much on track with everything. I’m still trying to figure out what is going on with my leg. It has been almost 2 months since I haven’t been able to put pressure on it. I know there was fluid build up but my orthopedic doctor couldn’t get me in until February so hopefully that will be solved soon. I also had a follow up appointment for my headaches/migraines. The medicine the doctor put me on is actually working. I went from having 20-25+ headaches a month to having 15 in 3 months so that is awesome. My husband has started back seeing his original Endocrinologist since he got a new insurance which is great because they are so much closer than the other ones we had to switch to. As of right now we still aren’t 100% sure if he has to have radiation or not but we should be finding that out soon. That’s about it I think. Not a whole lot going on otherwise.
How did January treat you? What was your favorite read of the month? Did you manage to stick to all of your challenges?
