January Wrap Up

Wrap Up

Hello bookworms!!

You might have noticed I didn’t set a TBR for January. Technically I did have a TBR but most of the books I was deciding on last minute so I decided this year I am going to skip TBR posts. I’m normally a TBR person so going without a TBR always scares me a little because I feel like I won’t read as much without one. Luckily that wasn’t the case and I hope it continues to go smoothly throughout the year.

Overall I think January started out pretty well. My ratings are all over the place but I already have two 5 star books. You will be seeing my challenge update post soon but I am pretty much on track with everything. I’m still trying to figure out what is going on with my leg. It has been almost 2 months since I haven’t been able to put pressure on it. I know there was fluid build up but my orthopedic doctor couldn’t get me in until February so hopefully that will be solved soon. I also had a follow up appointment for my headaches/migraines. The medicine the doctor put me on is actually working. I went from having 20-25+ headaches a month to having 15 in 3 months so that is awesome. My husband has started back seeing his original Endocrinologist since he got a new insurance which is great because they are so much closer than the other ones we had to switch to. As of right now we still aren’t 100% sure if he has to have radiation or not but we should be finding that out soon. That’s about it I think. Not a whole lot going on otherwise.

How did January treat you? What was your favorite read of the month? Did you manage to stick to all of your challenges?

    1. Thank you I’m very happy with my progress especially since I am actually sticking to my challenges which y’all will see in tomorrow’s post. I love his books can’t wait to see what you think of them once you’ve gotten around to reading them.

    1. Since starting my blog I have always made a TBR. There’s only a couple of times where I didn’t. I kind of have a TBR that I’m going off of this year but for some of my challenges I’m not deciding on what books to read until I actually pick them up so I thought there was no point in making a TBR post because I would only end up with a few definite reads on it. So far it’s working for me though so that’s good. I’m really happy with how January went for me.

    1. Ever since I started my blog almost 4 years ago now I’ve pretty much always set a TBR and I usually stuck to them. This year is kind of a mix of a TBR and mood reads I’m just not posting a TBR post because a lot of my TBR is chosen when I actually decide what I want to read. Thank you I hope you do as well.
