This Week In Books

My Week In Books 4/13 – 4/19

Hello bookworms!!

This week I actually managed to finish some books so I am happy about that. I don’t really have any thing else to say so lets jump to it.

~ Recently Finished ~

The first thing I finished this week was Immortal in Death by J.D. Robb. I started this series in January as part of the #indeathreadathon I joined and I am so glad I did because I am loving it so far. I should have read this one last month but I fell a little behind but I have now read it and can move on to the 4th book in the series. You can read my thoughts on this book here.  Next I finally finished reading the Little Women series this week. As a whole I really enjoyed this series but my favorite out of all of them is Little Women/Good Wives. For more of my thoughts on this series read my review here.

~ Currently Reading ~

I have kind of neglected reading Slasher Girls & Monster Boys in favor of reading everything else so I am still only 81 pages into it but hopefully I will be getting back to it soon. Next up I am reading Heir of Fury and I am 29% through it right now. My review for this one will hopefully be going up on release day.

~ Reading Next ~

I don’t really know what I will pick up next but these are a few of the contenders. Slated was sent to me by the author for me to review so I will definitely be reading it soon. The other 2 are for romanceopoly. Since I read my first ever historical romance earlier this month and really enjoyed it I am no longer skeptical about the genre so I am looking forward to reading another one. However I am very worried about Ice Planet Barbarian. This is totally out of my comfort zone which is why I was so excited to participate in romanceopoly in the first place but I’m kind of dreading it. I’m just not sure this is going to be for me but I am going to give it a shot.

Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them? What have you recently finished? What are you currently reading? What do you plan to read next?

  1. I love that more and more people are starting to read JD Robb, her books have been part of my life for the last 15 years, but I know the series can be quite intimidating, just by the sheer volume. So, I’m glad you gave it a chance. 😊

    1. Yeah the amount of books in the series is definitely intimidating and I am so glad I didn’t let that keep me from starting it and I’m glad I’m enjoying it. I’m going to be starting in the 4th book very soon.
