The Stuck At Home Book Tag

Tag

Hello bookworms!!

I was tagged by Steff from Little Booky Nook to do the Stuck At Home Book Tag exactly a month ago today. Thank you so much for the tag Steff. If you’re not following Steff already you’re definitely missing out.

The Rules:

  • Thank the person who nominated you
  • Answer all the questions down below
  • Pingback to the creator: Ellyn @ Allonsythornraxx
  • Nominate 5+ bloggers you’d like to know more about, to do this tag

1. What are you currently reading?

If you seen yesterdays post this is still the same. No changes at all because I didn’t read anything yesterday.

2. What’s your favorite ‘can’t-leave-the-house’ activity?

Honestly I rarely leave the house so pretty much everything is a can’t leave the house activity. Reading, watching Netflix and YouTube, blogging. the list could go on.

3. A book you’ve been meaning to read for forever

A Curse So Dark and Lonely

There are so many books that I have been meaning to read for a long time but one I really can’t believe I haven’t gotten to yet is A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie and I love retellings of this story so I really should have read it already.

4. An intimidating book on your TBR

For this one I went with an entire series and not just 1 book. There are several big books on my TBR that are intimidating but I think this one is more intimidating to me. I don’t know why really maybe because it’s such a hyped series. The bad thing is I own every single book and I still haven’t read them.

5. Top 3 priority books on your TBR

A Curse So Dark and Lonely is on this list as well but to not repeat myself I picked some other books I really want to get to sooner rather than later.

6. Recommend a short book

His Bride for the Taking

This was the first book I read this month so it was the first one I thought of. It’s really short coming in at 89 pages and I absolutely loved it. If you love historical romance you should give this one a try.

7. Recommend a long book

I’m going to recommend 2 books. The first one is The Darkest Minds which is 488 pages. I actually recommend this entire series including the Novellas except for the last book just don’t bother reading that one.  The next one is Doctor Sleep which is 531 pages. This is actually the sequel to The Shining so you should probably read both books to get the entire story but I preferred Doctor Sleep over The Shining.

8. Something you’d love to do while stuck at home

I would really just like to get through a bunch of my physical books but nothing seems to have changed on that front.

9. What do you plan on reading next?

Again if you’ve seen yesterdays post this is still the same. I had plans for this month and because of this stupid slump nothing is going the way I hoped.

I Tag: If you’ve already done this tag or don’t do tag posts at all feel free to just ignore this.

    1. Oh yay I hope you like it. Anne of Green Gables is a reread for me and I absolutely loved it the first time I read it. It was actually one of the first classics I really enjoyed. I need to continue on with the series.

  1. Omg I have been meaning to read A Curse So Dark And Lonely as well, I have heard good things! His Bride for the Taking sounds good, I actually recently bought a Tessa Dare book (I haven’t read it yet) but she seems like quite a popular romance author. Great answers lovely xx
