This Week In Books

My Week In Books 6/22 – 6/28

Hello bookworms!!

I feel like maybe just maybe I am coming out of my slump little by little but it’s not completely gone yet. I’m pushing through in the hopes that it will be gone soon and I can start July fresh but we shall see. I did manage to finish 2 books this week one of which I have been reading all month long. Anyways here is what my reading has looked like this past week.

~ Recently Finished ~

The first book I finished was a NetGalley ARC of What Unbreakable Looks Like. The content of this book is hard to read but it’s something that needs to be talked about more. I did have some issues with the book but overall I think it is one that should be read. You can read my review for it here. The #KeeperofKing reading group read one short story a week from this book and we finally finished the last one this week. You can read my full review for this one on Goodreads here or you can wait for it to go up on the blog tomorrow. Overall I just thought it was ok.

~Currently Reading ~

I will be finishing my reread of Anne of Green Gables sometime between now and Wednesday, I’m currently 62% into it and loving it just as much as I did the first time I read it. I haven’t technically started Dark Lover as I am writing this but I wanted to get this post scheduled to go up in the morning so I can focus on my book tonight. I am buddy reading this one with Jonny. I am also still beta reading a book for an author. This slump is making me get through things so much slower than usual.

~ Reading Next ~

I am just taking it one day at a time right now because of this stupid slump so I don’t really know what I will be reading next.

  1. Glad to hear you’re enjoying your reread of Anne of Green Gables. It’s such a wonderful book! I hope you enjoy Dark Lover. I can’t remember how well I did or didn’t enjoy it since I failed to write a review back then, but I am now thoroughly engrossed in the series.
