Mid Year Challenge Updates

Hello bookworms!!

In an attempt to keep up with my challenges for the year I have decided to do monthly challenge updates. I am hoping that this will serve as a continuous reminder of what I am slacking on so that the following month I can work on fixing it. I will link back to the announcement posts of each challenge if you want to know more about them and then I will list what I have completed with links to reviews if I have them. I am going to be including all of my challenges in one post every month so I won’t be going into a lot of detail. This post is going to be my progress in all of my challenges for the first half of the year. Instead of doing a separate June challenge update post it will just be included in this post. Since we are halfway through the year I should technically be halfway through all of my challenges. Lets see if I am on track.

Goodreads Reading Challenge 50/100

I am exactly halfway through my Goodreads Reading Challenge for the year. I have actually read 51 books but I can’t count one yet because I beta read it for the author so it isn’t up on Goodreads yet.

In Death Series Read-along 4/12

I am 2 books behind with this challenge. I didn’t get to May or Junes book but I am hoping to get caught up soon because I am really missing these characters.

Nicholas Sparks Challenge 3/9

Ok so I’ve read 3/9 books I included for this challenge but the 9th book isn’t even out yet so I’m really only 1 book behind schedule on this challenge.

20 In 2020 3/20

For this challenge I had picked 10 ebooks and 10 physical books to read for the year. Two of these were ebooks and 1 was a physical book. I am so far behind on this one. By now I should have already read at least 10 but I’ve only read 3 so I am 7 books behind schedule for this challenge and honestly I don’t see myself catching up.

Husband Picks 2/10

I am 3 books behind schedule for this challenge and this is another one that I am not sure I will be catching up on at this point.

#ARCApoclypse Readathon 12/27

NetGalley 3/14

Review Copies 9/13

Adding both of these list together I am only one and a half books behind schedule.

Romanceopoly 17/38

And once again I am behind. By now I should have read 19 books for this challenge so I am only 2 books behind schedule.

So I am behind on every single challenge except for my Goodreads reading challenge. I’m not too far behind on most of them so I think I can still manage to complete several of these but we will see how I do in the last half of the year. How are you doing with your yearly challenges?

  1. Yess I love seeing these mid year updates! Congrats for sticking to most of your challenges! Honestly I don’t know how you keep up so well. There are so many books I want to read. Red, White and Royal Blue has been on my TBR for some time now. The Duchess Deal and Fix Her Up look really interesting too!

    1. Thank you!! This will make the 3rd year that I will hopefully be reading 100+ books in a year. I haven’t always read this much in a year plus it helps that I’m a stay at home wife so I have a lot of time to read. Good luck with yours as well.

  2. What a fun post! I think you can catch up with a lot of those!!! There’s still half a year to go 🙂 And if you don’t, at least you had fun reading other books!
