This Week In Books

My Week In Books 6/29 – 7/5

Hello bookworms!!

So the reading slump is definitely almost gone. I think it’s still lingering a little because I over booked myself and I started feeling the stress from it but I am making great progress so I’m hopeful it will be completely gone very soon. I finished 3 books this week. Two of which you will see below. The other one was a beta read I did for an author so I can’t show that one. Anyways here’s what my reading looked like this week.

~ Recently Finished ~

I finished 2 of my buddy reads this week. The first one was a buddy read I did with Erin and it was actually a reread for me. I loved Anne just as much as I did the first time I read it and this time I am going to be continuing on with the series because Erin and I plan to buddy read them together like we did the Little Women series. Last up was a buddy read I did with Jonny. I have been meaning to read this for so long so when Jonny left it up to me to pick our next buddy read I picked this as an option when I saw it was on his TBR as well. I am typing this up Saturday evening not to long after actually finishing the book so we haven’t talked about the book yet but keep an eye out for a discussion post later today and my review for it will go up tomorrow.

~ Currently Reading ~

Full Tilt

This is yet another buddy read and this one is with Destiny. I kept falling behind on everything so everything was piling up. Can you see why I was stressing out? I felt so bad but luckily everyone I have been buddy reading books with has been very understanding so thank y’all for that. I have started this one but I’m only 23 pages into it so I don’t really have an opinion on it yet.

~ Reading Next ~

I will be continuing my buddy read of the Anne of Green Gable series with Erin and the next book is Anne of Avonlea. The #KeeperofKing readalong group I am a part of is reading the next book in the The Dark Tower series which is The Wind Through the Keyhole but I still need to read Wizard and Glass before getting to that one. Lets just hope I can read both of these by the 19th because that’s the discussion day for The Wind Through the Keyhole.

    1. I’m glad to be finally carrying on with the series especially since I loved the first book so so much. I will see if I can find the original tv series. I know there’s one on Netflix that I will eventually watch.
