This Week In Books

My Week In Books 7/6 – 7/12

Hello bookworms!!

So I think my reading slump is finally completely gone. I was only able to finish 2 books this week but I am back to wanting to read everything all of the time so that’s good. Here is what I’ve been reading this week.

~ Recently Finished ~

The first book I finished was Full Tilt by Emma Scott and I buddy read this one with Destiny. It was a slow start but overall I ended up enjoying it. Lastly I finished Rush by Kandi Steiner. This is a readalong that I decided to join this month and it’s being hosted by Jess from peacelovebookxo, Melissa from sheisanopenbook, and Mina from mina_reads. While I have a couple of issues with this book I did enjoy this one as well. I haven’t wrote my reviews for either of these but I am hoping to have them up sometime within the next week so keep an eye out for that.

~ Currently Reading ~

Erin from Reading With Wrin and I have been buddy reading classics all year. We read Anne of Green Gables last month and decided to continue on with the series like we did with Little Women earlier this year. I’m currently 100 pages into it and I am enjoying it. I’m also working on catching up with the #KeeperofKing group in the Dark Tower series. So far I’m 137 pages into this 1,041 page book. I doubt I will have this book and the next book in the series finished by the 19th but I am trying.

~ Reading Next ~

Next up in the PSU readalong is Anchor so I will be starting it tomorrow. Whenever I finish Wizard and Glass I will continue on to The Wind Through the Keyhole. I also want to catch up with the In Death series readalong because I’m a couple of books behind on that and I need to read more for romanceopoly and the next book in line for that challenge is Barbarian Alien.

  1. Hi – I hope at some point you’ll have time to read memoirs – and will read my just-published Back to the Land in Silicon Valley. My publisher, Paper Angel Press, will send you an ARC or you can get it now from Amazon.
