My Week In Books 8/17 – 8/23

Hello bookworms!!

This week has been a slow reading week for me. I have gotten in the mood to just binge watch shows and of course the one I decided I wanted to watch was Bones which I have rewatched so many times now I have lost count. It doesn’t matter how many times I watch it I am always sucked in and I just want to binge it. So far I’ve watched all of season 1. If it wasn’t for Amazon being stupid I would have watched so much more. Anyways all of that to say that once again Bones is coming between me and my reading lol.

~ Recently Finished ~

Yep I only managed to finish 1 book this week and that was Christine by Stephen King. I thought this was ok. I haven’t written a review for it yet but hopefully I will have one coming soon. Also I just wanted to mention that last week I started The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black but I decided to DNF it for now because it was due back to the library and I just haven’t been in the mood to read and didn’t want to force myself to get through it.

~Currently Reading ~

I started this last night and managed to read 79 pages. It isn’t really long and I think it’s going to be a quick read so I should be finishing it within a day or 2.

~ Reading Next ~

I still need to read both of these books. These are 2 of the 3 books I chose for my August Bookshelf Challenge. I really don’t want to have to add extra books to next months TBR so I really need to get these read ASAP.
